Delwyn Williams – PGA Golf Coach

Delwyn Williams is a dedicated and passionate golf coach with years of experience helping players refine their skills and reach their full potential. Based at Glamorganshire Golf Club from 2019 to 2025, Delwyn worked his way through the ranks from retail assistant to most recently Head PGA Professional working with golfers of all levels, focusing on simple, effective coaching techniques that produce lasting results.

With an ASQ Level 1 & 2 Certification and a BSc (Hons) in Professional Golf Studies, Delwyn combines academic knowledge with real-world playing experience. As a former Glamorgan County Junior Golfer, he made his mark early, winning his first Club Championship at just 18 years old while competing at Radyr GC and Llantrisant & Pontyclun GC. Now as a professional, he regularly competes in West Region and South Wales PGA events, keeping his skills sharp while staying up-to-date with the latest in golf performance. Known for his excellent communication, customer service and deep knowledge of modern coaching techniques and golf equipment, Delwyn also offers lessons in Welsh, his first language.

Coaching Philosophy

Delwyn believes in keeping things simple, focusing on a couple key points at a time to make the game easier to understand and improve. His approach is centered around small tweaks that create big changes, ensuring that progress is sustainable and effective. Understanding that golf is a marathon, not a sprint, he tailors his coaching to each player’s individual journey, helping them develop long-term confidence and consistency in their game.
